This is a selection of some of my drawings.
I use graphite and colour pencils, using the full range of hardnesses available to achieve a tonal range in the drawing. It takes a very long time to make a detailed pencil drawing as every area of the paper has to be drawn. With an etching, aquatint puts in the tone, but in a pencil drawing, the tones all have to be drawn.
